Scentsy Story
My name is Tara Lee, and I am so happy to be taking this journey with you!!! In December of 2016, my baby boy, Rease Hamilton, passed away due to a Congenital Heart Defect at 8.5 months. I was devastated, as you may imagine. Suffering from severe Post-Partum Anxiety, I became reclusive, and very rarely left the house. I was losing myself. After reconnecting with a long-time friend, I joined her Scentsy Team, and everything changed! I felt a sense of worth again! I felt needed! I found not only friends, but family within my Scentsy teammates! I was able to financially provide for my Daughter - which, as a single Mama, is incredibly important to me! This past August, she and I were able to move into our OWN HOME, with JUST the financial support of my Scentsy income!
In 8 short months after joining, I was promoted 5 times, to the 3rd highest position in Scentsy Leadership - Director. I now have an amazing Team that grows weekly, and is always seeking those that need something added to THEIR lives! Scentsy has allowed me to give more to my baby girl, Selene, named after the Greek Goddess of the Moon, who celebrated her FOURTH birthday in May. I also hope to continue growing my business in order to give back to my baby boy, as I would love to begin an organization one day for women who have gone through experiences like mine.
